On 24/02/2024, during a search operation at a check post on the Mymensingh-Netrokona road on the east side of Narandia Bazar in Narandia area under Purbadhala police station, a Netrokona-bound Mahua Paribahan bus was searched and Ruman Mia (20), son of Abdul Gani and Rowshan Ara of Barowari village under Netrokona Sadar police station, was arrested red-handed along with 20 (twenty) grams of illegal drug heroin. Later, a regular case was filed against the arrested accused at Purbadhala police station and the accused was sent to the learned court. (DNC, Netrokona)
